Raft Race - winners 1st Sonning Scouts
On a breezy 4th July (2010), 7 troops competed in the annual raft race (held at Black Swan Lake, Hurst). With all troops pioneering and then racing their individually designed rafts, Sonning were the clear winners on 61 points, as well as being the fastest troop in the race.
Murray Plate 2009-10 - winners 1st Hurst Air Scouts
The annual competition between all the Scout troops in Loddon district, the Murray Plate consists of points from the troops' (best 5) placings from each of the 6 district events (Raft Race, Great Breakfast Chase, 10-pin Bowling, Cooking Competition, 5-a-side Football & Camping Challenge). congratulations to 1st Hurst for winning this year.
